Plant Manager

The Plant Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the plant by overseeing employees, production and efficiency, to ensure the plant is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely. The manager will help drive the plant’s long-term success by creating and implementing plans that align with the corporate strategy.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Plant financial accountability, which includes tracking financial data, budget and P&L goals, as well as preparing and presenting necessary data to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and drive safety, quality and productivity to meet monthly goals.
  • Create plans for utilization of the plant resources of personnel, materials and machines.
  • Enhance Customer relationship and satisfaction by meeting quality, service and pricing expectations.
  • Develop a highly effective work force by hiring, motivating, training and even disciplining plant personnel.
  • Endorses the continuous improvement of the overall plant while maintaining company policy.
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree is required, master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of plant, or related, experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of the painting industry
  • Strong leadership and Supervisory experience required
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
